Cultural journey

Gallery wayfinding and exhibition information at Tate Modern

Cultural challenge

Live Culture provided an opportunity to engage with the shifting nature of live art practice in relation to the visual arts. Distinguished artists, theorists and curators examined the expansion of performance art across broader artistic and social arenas, and considered its role in relation to cultural change.

Identity in situ

UXB worked with Tate Modern to bring the identity of Live Culture to the exhibition spaces. We developed the exhibition signage and information systems and provided production support to the artists in the performance spaces.

Live Culture gives an audience the chance to experience new forms of artistic engagement, and also enables Tate Modern to consider its role not only as a site for preservation and interpretation, but as as active generator of performance work.
