Swan Housing annual report

A lot of annual reports look the same, then there are those that you have to look at again and again.

Look again

Swan are not what they seem. To many they were seen as just another RSL working in the east of London and Essex. With a Housing Corporation grant of £73.3 million in 2006 and several multi-million pound regeneration projects, they are in fact the leading social housing provider in the entire region and for the Thames Gateway.

Message of strength

When they asked us to work with them on their annual report we found quite a few other facts that jumped out but were just not resonating in their sector. We thought the report was a great opportunity to get some of these messages noticed by key stakeholder audiences.

Double take

We knew this audience and that they were innundated with reports of little or no distinction. Our idea was to make them look again at this report by combining visual illusions with punchy copy, illuminating quotes and revealing facts. The result opened a few eyes about Swan.
