The BP Natural World Book Prize was awarded annually in partnership with the Wildlife Trusts. The award was given to the author of a book which "most imaginatively promotes the conservation of the natural environment".
Natural selection
In 1999 UXB were commissioned to produce a distinctive marque for the prize and develop supporting marketing materials.
Futures bright
The BP Natural World Book Prize is now The Natural World Book Prize. It is the only book award in the UK to recognise environmental literature. The prize continues to encourage writing which promotes the understanding and conservation of the natural environment and wildlife.
The Natural World Book Prize is organised by The Wildlife Trusts, sponsored by BP plc, Subbuteo Books and administered by Booktrust.
