Red House Children’s Book Awards Branding

New identity revitalises established book award

Vote winner

The Red House Children’s Book Award is made annually to the best work of fiction for children after hundreds of books have been read, digested and voted on by children.

Book people

Red House Books is an imprint of The Book People and they asked us to create a new visual identity to support Red House’s sponsorship of the prize.

Co-ordinators

The Federation of Children’s Book Groups co-ordinates the prize and is an umbrella organisation for autonomous Book Groups across the UK. Children from these groups carry out the initial reading and reviewing before choosing a shortlist that other children can vote on. The Red House Children’s Book Award winner really is the children’s choice.

Strong position

Now in its 26th year, the award is building on a position of strength and recognition, with more books being entered and more children taking part than ever before.
