Sawyers Court Property Marketing

Getting the positioning right to stimulate sales for this MHO development.

Homes in Sawyers Court were proving hard to sell and Metropolitan Home Ownership (MHO) were not sure why. It was difficult to see why enquiries were not forthcoming, with long lists of people waiting for affordable homes and supply not meeting demand.

Starting position

With a series of open days planned MHO needed to make potential buyers aware of Sawyers Court and kick-start some sales momentum. Having worked successfully together on several other developments, MHO asked us to review the way the development was being communicated to the market.

Affordable and available

We felt that the affordable price of these homes was not getting across to people forcefully enough. Although shared-ownership rules are difficult to understand and navigate, the actual price of a home and the salary you need to buy it are not.

The label you can afford

We used price label tickets to convey clear and urgent sales messages to the target audience. The look and feel was rolled out in adverts, brochures and on banners.

Just the ticket

MHO saw an immediate effect, with better than expected attendance at the launch days and reservations shooting up 100%. The development is just four homes away from being completely sold out.
