Cultural Education Challenge website

Responsive design for the Cultural Education Challenge website created for A New Direction

In order to deliver the project within a tight timeframe and create a powerful call to action, we worked very closely with AND the whole way through.

A clear timeline, news feeds and FAQs make for straightforward user journeys, while shareable icons are designed to increase organic traffic. To engage a broad audience, we provided varied and fast moving content on the homepage. This covered everything AND wanted to shout about, linking to related areas in order to appeal to a diverse and creative group.

A New Direction is London’s leader in cultural education, connecting children, young people and education with the best of arts and culture that the city has to offer. Their new project the Cultural Educational Challenge is a nearly £1m initiative – funded by Arts Council England. Potential partners must apply to the initiative for a £100,000 grant, and those selected must submit a business case on how they will bring in funds to match that figure.

The Cultural Education Challenge is as an exciting, life-changing opportunity which the website needed to convey. With just one month to apply, the website was a vital entry-point for partners to submit their interest, as well as a hub of information.
